Joe is a multi-talented broadcaster who has a background in sports reporting and commercial radio.

A passionate football fan and seasoned creator of content, Joe anchors the Chelsea Football Club's Matchday TV show watched by millions around the world. Joe's quick witted charm and extensive football knowledge comes across making current players, footballing legends, pundits and guests on the show feel at ease.

The 29-year-old has amassed a variety of experiences on screen during a COVID hit few seasons for the football club including hosting coverage of Chelsea's Champions League win in 2021, a behind closed doors FA Cup final as well as an emotional return to stadiums for thousands of fans. Whilst the team on the pitch have been picking up silverware the plaudits have extended to Joe's on screen work who has continuously illustrated his versatility and professionalism. A highlight for Joe was leading the pitch side coverage of the 2022 Carabao Cup Final between Chelsea and Liverpool.

In addition to his presenting responsibilities, Joe has increased his portfolio by adding stadium announcing and sports commentary to his skillset. In 2023 Joe's voice became synonymous with the England Women's Rugby team as he took on the role of RedRoses Stadium Announcer. His love for live sports is also evident through his commentary work. In the past 18months he has commentated on the Women's FA Cup Final, WSL and Women's Championship games as well as games in the Premier League, UEFA Champions League and UEFA Youth League. Brands such as SkySports, The FA, ChelseaTV, BBC Radio 5 Live and TalkSPORT have used Joe's commentary or footballing insight during the 2022/23 season.

Between 2015 and 2022 Joe presented on the Capital FM network under his nickname 'JJ'. His youthful, tongue-in-cheek take on popular culture has seen him present across the schedule including the flagship Capital Evening Show between 2017 and 2019.

In 2018 Joe co-created and launched a new football podcast commissioned by Global called All Out Attack which was nominated for a Football Content Award just three months later. In 2020, the podcast won Gold in the Best Fantasy Football Podcast award at the Football Content Awards.

As a Broadcast Journalism graduate and award winning sports writer Joe likes to blog in his spare time and regularly tweets sports related quips which have been credited on SPORTBible, MetroSport and DailyMail Sport.

There is never a quiet room with a broadcaster in it and Joe is true to that statement. His dulcet tones have been intertwined with marketing campaigns for some of the biggest brands including Nike, Barclays, Coca-Cola, Carphone Warehouse, ITV and Channel 5.

Despite the dream of a professional footballer finishing a long time ago, Joe continues to turn out for his local Sunday football team where he once scored a header from his own half (if you've met Joe, he has probably told you this already, countless times).

He has made no secret about his pride in his journalism background and hopes to extend his portfolio in this field in the future by stepping into documentary making and started work on an, as yet untitled, project he hopes to bring to life in the near future.

Please contact Joe here (joeflemons6@gmail.com) if you would like to discuss any upcoming projects.
